Rolls-Royce restoration

Rolls-Royce PortfolioFor over 20 years, I have managed several Rolls-Royce restoration projects. Collectors trust I will reupholster their Rolls-Royce interiors to their original factory conditions.

I have earned an outstanding reputation for my custom Rolls-Royce upholstery skills on many classic Rolls-Royce cars entered at Concours d'Elegance shows.

My experience with classic Rolls-Royce interior restorations includes the Phantoms, 25/30, Silver Wraiths, Silver Dawns, Silver Clouds, and Silver Shadows.

My full interior Rolls-Royce restorations include reupholstering all interior parts to their original design and color specifications, like seats, dashboards, steering wheels, consoles, headliners, carpets, door panels, and trunks. I only use the finest leathers and fabrics in the world to restore a Rolls-Royce interior to the same, or better, condition than the factory original. In fact, I often use the same techniques as the original factory upholsterers. Everything is handmade and retrimmed to perfection.

1938 Rolls-Royce restoration 25/30 Hooper

March 2014: A wealthy Rolls-Royce collector in Los Angeles tasked me to restore his luxurious 1938 Rolls-Royce 25/30 Sports Saloon by British coachbuilder, Hooper & Co.

Its chassis # is GGR20 which makes it a R2 Series. Only 1,201 Rolls-Royce 25/30 models were produced from 1936-1938, and even fewer with coachwork from Hooper & Co.

In the early 1800s, Hooper was given a "Royal Appointment" for coachbuilding horse-drawn carriages by King George IV and was a favorite of Queen Victoria. When motor-powered cars were invented, the tradition continued with Rolls-Royce. They built the most luxurious bodies possible without consideration of cost.

You can still see the maker's sill plate identifying Hooper as the "Motor Body Builders and Coachbuilders to His Majesty the King, Her Majesty Queen Mary, H.R.H the Duke of Kent, H.R.H the Princess Royal, and H.R.H. the Duke of Connaught."

The owner commissioned me to reupholster the cream interior leather seats to a "barley" color, repaint her exterior a darker shade of the two tone arrangement of sherwood green (dark) over a sage green (light), and touch up the burr walnut dash and trim items.

1964 Rolls-Royce restoration Silver Cloud III

April 2014: The owner of this 1964 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III hired me to reupholster the interior only, including the the burled walnut woodwork throughout. His decision to go with a plush gray leather contrasts beautifully with its classic silver exterior finish.

The Silver Cloud III was introduced in 1963 and was replaced with the Silver Shadow I in 1966. The Silver Cloud III is very similar to a 1964 Bentley S3 that I had the pleasure of reupholstering.
